ONION PAKODA [one of the most favorite, delicious south Indian snack]
Ingredients:
Onions-10
Green chillies-10
Bengal gram flour-3/4 cup
Coriander powder-2 table spoon
Cumin seeds powder-1 table spoon
Salt to taste
Soda powder-1/2 tea spoon
Mint leaves [optional]-little
Coriander leaves
Oil for deep frying
METHOD;
Cut onions length wise and mix all the other ingredients into roll batter consistency, add 4 table spoons of hot oil to the batter, now deep fry the rolls in hot oil till golden brown and serve hot Batter should be little tight to drop in the rolls .add one cup of rice flour to the dough it makes crispy rolls
Add little cloves powder to the batter
